So when creating templates for a large group of users, you should keep your presentation safe by choosing any of the 44 fonts that are most commonly installed* in different PowerPoint versions. ![]() Mac versions of PowerPoint cannot use embedded fonts at all. ![]() And even if you choose to embed the font, you might not have the rights to distribute the font. Most fonts can’t be embedded in a template so they must be installed locally for anyone to use and see these fonts. However, when designing corporate presentations that need to travel outside the organization, using a unique font is risky, no matter how beautiful it is.
